The Turkish economy is growing by 5% in the first quarter of 2017
Turkey’s economy grew by 5% in the first quarter of 2017, according to the Turkish Statistics Authority.
The GDP of Turkey rose by 5 percent in the first three months of this year, a statement issued by the authority said on Monday.
In an Anatolia poll on the expected growth rates of the Turkish economy, economists polled forecast that growth in the first quarter of this year was 3.8%.
In the first quarter of last year, the Turkish economy grew by 4.5% and by 3.5% the Turkish economy during the last quarter, while achieving 2.9% growth during the whole year.
